This program is a Dispatch departments dream program, not a worst nightmare like some of the other imitation programs out there. This is important, because it shows they LISTEN to the end user's needs, and then work with that information. Their support team is top notch. Before we even were a customer, I had called very early one morning and left a message. They called me back right then and they weren't even open yet. Their routing is another feature that we have appreciated. You can show multiple routes over each other, so you can see where you can make changes and merge routes without sending several trucks to the same area. We have expanded our business into several different directions now, and we have been able to utilize RouteOptix instead of adding additional programs. It is becoming a one stop shop for us. RouteOptix is end user friendly, adaptable, and accommodating to changes. It is a very well designed program with knowledgeable support people who have become more like friends than just a voice at the end of the phone.Ten years ago we met Ron, the brain behind the Route Optix software. At the time my company was using a spreadsheet for customer routing, accounting software for billing, more spreadsheets to track customer volumes, and even more to help track fleet maintenance. Ron put an end to our disorganization and optimized our workflow. Route Optix is the primary program that we use to handle our operational needs. Route Optix has helped us to streamline our entire process. From work order creation, to dispatching, waste material tracking and asset tracking to billing, accounts receivable as well as reporting. The program is easy to learn and easy to run. The RouteOptix program is a stable program, so the need to place a call to RouteOptix regarding an issue or a problems is very few and far between. When we have had to place a call to them, the staff there has always been very friendly, and helpful. They are very attentive to our needs and have always been able to answer questions or resolve any issue we may have been having. The staff at RouteOptix has also helped us customize some program features and have created some custom reports which have been very useful. With the detailed invoicing, work order, waste and asset tracking features RouteOptix gives us an edge over the competition!
I will 1st say when I was 1st introduced to RouteOptix I was amazed with everything company had to offer. Once we had the training and were ready to go live, we were very skeptical if we made the right decision. We knew we had software we can use to help us run our company better, but we were very concern if the support team would be there for us since we had multiple bad experiences with other companies.
Once we went live and RouteOptix Support showed us how we could run our business better we became so comfortable with the conversion. The Support team has been wonderful. When you call or email the support team, not only will you get the answer you are looking for, but you will get the answers within a 1/2 hour or less. There have been many occasions when I was helped over the phone right away. There is no waiting on the line for 15 minutes. You also get more information to help you with new ideas as well. We standby RouteOptix and join their journey for further advancements.We started using RouteOptix about a decade ago, at that time we had 400 bins to manage, route and bill. I have to say that the purchase and implentation of the software has been extremely successful for us as a company. The time saved doing month end alone has paid for the service many times over. We find the software easy to use and if we have issues the support team is fantastic and always gets us results. We utilize the system for asset tracking as well and it works very well for us. Being a rural based garbage company we are able to use the mapping software to also pin point where bins are. As our business has grown RouteOptix has grown with us and always is offering new services and updates to make our job easier.
